At GroundWork, I provide evidence-based therapy, such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as Behavioral Activation (BA) for adolescents and adults with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), mood and anxiety disorders, body dysmorphia, as well as body focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs).
I strive to provide a compassionate and supportive environment where clients feel valued and understood. My approach incorporates mindfulness techniques to help clients cultivate awareness and stay grounded in the present, working collaboratively with you to develop personalized strategies tailored to your goals. Together, we’ll focus on cultivating self-compassion, overcoming obstacles, and creating lasting positive change. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
Education and Background: I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, in addition to a Master of Social Work degree from Millersville University in Lancaster, PA. I am a doctoral candidate at the School of Behavioral Sciences at Liberty University, pursuing a degree as a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology. My doctoral research includes individuals with comorbid diagnoses of post-traumatic stress disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder, examining the relationship between traumatic events and obsessive-compulsive presentation.
I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW – SW138312, PA) in the state of Pennsylvania. I have previous experience working at Rogers Behavioral Health, a nationally recognized mental health organization, at both the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care. At the Philadelphia location, I received extensive training and supervision from well-respected clinicians such as Martin Franklin, PhD, a nationally renowned expert in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder, obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders, body-focused repetitive behaviors, in addition to the study and management of anxiety and related conditions.
About Me: I was raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, a rural area known for its Amish heritage. After completing college, I moved to Philadelphia to begin my career and spent a few years there before settling in Lansdowne with my husband. In November of 2025, we welcomed our first child, which has been a deeply meaningful new chapter in our lives. In my downtime, I enjoy hiking, listening to podcasts, and spending quality time with my family.
